How It All Started
The idea for JouleShift was conceived in August 2024, during a discussion between Pradyum Kaneria and Prof. Satyanarayanan Shesadri at IIT Madras. What began as a conversation about the gap between academic research and industrial application quickly evolved into a vision — to create a platform that transforms cutting-edge research into real-world engineering solutions.
Recognizing India’s immense potential in science and technology, the foundation of JouleShift was laid with a mission to bridge industry and academia, promote homegrown innovation, and strengthen the Made & Designed in India initiative.
